Traders at the Karachi Cotton Association (KCA) said on Saturday that spot cotton prices have risen, trade volume has increased, transactions have been active, and spot prices have remained high.

Traders said that during the week, the buyer purchased all grades of lint, and the weak seller sold the inventory to buyers in Sindh and Punjab Traders' Stations. The KCA Spot Committee raised the spot price by Rs. 100/Mongde to Rs. 5,400/Monday, aiming to support the lowest prices, benefiting the weak ginners and helping them to make the difference grade cotton sell well.
