US Christmas prices will increase by 10% from last year

The NRF study also found that 52% of respondents indicated that they planned to purchase department stores this year, 49.4% a year ago. The clothing stores also poured into more shopping crowds, increasing from 22.9% a year ago to 24.4% this year.

Consumer spending accounts for 70% of the U.S. economy. Experts expect that people with more abundant purse strings will continue to consume, especially if these groups do not focus their spending on Black Friday after Thanksgiving.
